Skinfood Choco Eyeline Jam in: Choco Dip Black & Choco Dip Mocha Review & Swatch

Another Skinfood review:

I got the Skinfood Choco Eyeline Jam in 2 colors : Choco Dip Black & Choco Dip Mocha.
I believe they have a total of 3 colors available , Satin Brown is the 3rd color.
It's a cream eyeliner or "soft-gel eyeliner" - according to the site, the first cream eyeliner I've ever tried. I usually kept to liquid eyeliners. It's meant to give a nice matte finish.

The packaging is a cute, jam - jar inspired, pot made of glass.
Sadly it does not come with a brush unlike most cream or gel eyeliners, so you need a tiny smudge brush, a slanted brush , or any small precise brush you are comfortable with.

These actually work pretty well and stay on for awhile. It usually stay on until I decide to take it off at the end of the day. I always wear eyeshadow primer so that might contribute to how long it lasts.

Click on photos to view Full Size
Here are some pics to show you the packaging:

It should be sealed when you receive it

Date on the bottom is manufacturing date
not expiration date.

The 2 colors look similar until you do a side by side comparison.
The color I didn't get is a much lighter color called Satin Brown

I used a small brush to swatch the eye liners on my hand
It applies smooth, well depending on the brush you use,
but its nice n creamy I'll update if it dries out on me.

nice n matte, if that's what you're looking for

Pros:
Creamy
Lots of product (value)
nice packaging
Good application
Long lasting

Cons:
No brush
Hard to find outside of Asia
Cost more out of Asia
Comes in only 3 colors

I am currently using these for everyday make up
and I am very satisfied although if it's a special/ important occasion
I would buy a waterproof eyeliner.
I am very happy to have these as my first cream eyeliners.

EYEKO Fat balm Strawberry Minty Raspberry past Review & Swatch

I've had Eyeko Fat balms for awhile now, and I'm sure most of you have heard of them.
They are Fat lip balms that can also be used on cheeks. Containing Jojoba to help nourish lips and contains no petrochemical.

These go for about $8 plus shipping on their site
To my surprise Eyeko was once sold at Sephora, I'm not exactly sure why they stopped

They also have a new design on their packaging.
So if you purchase one with the old design it probably isn't fresh.

It comes in 3 flavors
Minty, Strawberry, & Raspberry.

The colors are sheer, Minty is an iridescent pink, Strawberry is red, Raspberry to me looks brown with a little bit of purple.
They are scented and I think the minty one is a little bit flavored.
I like the Minty one the best for color & flavor. I used Strawberry from time to time.
The Raspberry one is too dark for me and I usually don't use dark colors for my lips.

I don't like using these on my cheeks it feels a bit heavy n greasy, unless you use a light layer and really blend.

If you plan on getting just one I would recommend the minty one for the fresh feeling on your lips or the Strawberry one if your looking for a cheek tint too.

MISSHA M Perfect Cover BB Cream Review

I haven't posted in while >.< ... but I am Back.. Missha is a korean brand, that is actually very accessible in the United States. They Have a website www.Missha.net available in both English & Korean. They Even opened up a store in New york. They offer a variety of make up at a reasonable price range.
They also have a number of BB Creams Available.
I purchased The M Perfect Cover BB Cream in #23 Natural Beige .
The first thing I noticed about this BB cream is that it comes in 4 different shades, since the usual BB cream comes in 1 or 2 shades.
I guess since they are marketing in the US they are including more shades to suit the array of skintones.
M perfect cover BB cream cost about $29.99 for a 50 ml tube.
I got the 30 ml one to try which isn't available on their site.
According to the site It supposed to:
★ Provide a natural coverage with soothing & moisturizing properties
Suitable for all Skin types (including acne prone skin)
Can be used as make up base & foundation

Also:
Whitening
Anti -Wrinkle
UV protection (SPF 42 PA +++)

Onto the swatches...

It provides good coverage and when using the the right amount does not feel thick or heavy.
Anything with feel heavy if you use too much.

Before opening the the tube I used the sample packets I got which turned out to be a good idea. I found that my skin tone matches better with #21 Light Beige instead of #23 Natural Beige. The 2 shades are not that different from each other, but I found that #23 is a little too dark not even a big difference but I feel like its more noticeable when foundation is a little too dark than when its a little too light. So I ended up not opening the box hehe.

On a note This works well with M BB Boomer which is a primer and will help make your BB Cream last longer, which I also bought but did not open yet so look forward to a review of that.

If anybody wants this BB Cream Let me know I still need to sell it
so Contact me if interested. $17 (Sold)
If you still want to order korean brand products contact me,
It's better to order in hauls

EYEKO Cream Moisturizer Review & Swatch

I've actually had this for a long while now, I'm sure most of you already know about it. I'll be doing reviews & swatches of not so recent products from time to time ^_^.

Eyeko is a cosmetic brand in london, There is a Japanese influence that is why it sounds like Aiko (love, child) in japanese. Their packaging and logo features an anime like character with pink hair.

The brand's signature product is their Eyeko Cream It is a 3 in 1 Moisturizer, Highlighter, & Eye Cream.

What it's supposed to do:
Create a flawless base
Moisturize
Highlight
Eye cream? ( not to specific on that )

Attribute:
Anti-Oxidants ( Vitamin A & E)
Vitamin C for "radiant, clear complexion"
infused with light reflectors

It comes in a pink jar,the cream looked more whipped when I first opened it.
There is plenty of product, it has lasted me quite a while

Hmm I dont think these photos do it justice ( will update with better pics soon)
Though you get the idea, i dont think shimmer really gets captured in photos anyway

Great if you want to add shimmer to face, sometimes I even put some on my arms, shoulders, and legs, pretty much anywhere you want to highlight or add shimmer ( not hair lol) .
I usually put a thin layer all over my face and then add some more to places I want to highlight.
(ie cheeks, nose, forehead)
When done right shimmer can look super gorgeous, just remember with eyeko cream a little goes a long way. Over doing it can make you look to shiny and give you that sweaty look >.< ★Mari

Skin79 Super Plus Beblish Balm BB Cream Review & Swatch

An aspect that makes the BB cream so alluring are the variety of beneficial ingredients they put inside. It is also the ingredients that differentiate the BB creams from each other.

Skin79 Super Plus BB Cream (hot pink)
according to their site & the box the main ingredients include:

Adenosine & Arbutin: for whitening , brightening, improving elasticity, and preventing wrinkles.

Phyto Complex: Skin nutrition & Moisturizing. (soothes skin) Lotus extract: Skin flexibility (I guess it adds to the elasticity as well)
Coenzyme Q10: Skin protection
Aloe Vera: Healthy Skin
Also Contains Osmopur which contains:
Sunflower, Rice Bran , and Ivy extract that also protects your skin from various harmful conditions
So when looking for a BB cream for your self pay close attention to the ingredients and benefits and choose what is right for you.

Now that we got ingredients out of the way lets move on to the functions & review

What it is:
Skin79 Super Plus triple functions BB cream ( Hot pink Version )
(BB Cream in a "short" summary is a all in one skincare / foundation)

What it is supposed to do (functions):
Whitening
SPF 25 PA+++
Wrinkle protection
Also mentions:
Skintone correction, Pore coverage, & Sebum Control

Replaces both make up base & foundation.

I love the packaging its sleek , make sure the safety seal is intact on the top where you push the pump. Safety first as there are already some fake bb creams out there.
I got it in the pump version, I think theres a tube one and a mini tube one you can put on ure phone hehe.

I like the coverage on this one, it does a good job on the pores and gives that porcelain finish. Like many BB creams it comes in one shade which is on the lighter side.
It does well in layering and does not look cakey just dont put like 100000x layers on.
when i first pumped it out it looked grayish to me and I was scared it would look dull, but it actually brightened my skin.
I'm on the lighter side right now ( havent tanned in awhile)
so this is definitely one of my faves.

I even feel like its evening my skin tone ^_^
I love BB creams because it takes the guilt away from putting on foundation.
Usually I feel wary about slapping foundation on my face, like my pores are getting clogged every minute I have it on. With BB cream its guilt free & i hardly feel it ( maybe because i'm not feeling guilty hehe) Plus the SPF protection is veeerry important. Just knowing its benefiting my skin instead of hurting it helps me rest easy.
Hoped that help

Additional Info:
Price:27,000 won on their official site
I don't think they ship internationally
You could always try other sites
prices vary and shipping charges also
Beware of fake skin79 products there are some out there
so if it's super cheap be careful also check where it's from

EYEKO Line and Shine swatches & review

I finally got around to unsealing my Eyeko line n Shine pencils. They are chubby, 2 sided eye pencils. I got them in Pop star,Rock star, and Super Star.

The pencils are bigger than I expected, about 5 1/2 inches tall.
The application is surprisingly smooth, and they are well pigmented.
I'm not sure why I expected them to scratch and pull on my lids, but they don't so I'm very happy hehe.

Pop star:
Electric blue- Matte Blue
Teal-Teal( Greenish Blue with shimmer)

Rock Star:
Black Glitter-Black with silver glitter
Silver- Silver metallic shimmer

Super Star:
Electric Purple - Bright purple with a light luster
Plum- Soft purple with some reddish hues

Its not meant for thin eyeliner lines, but great for a quick smokey eye.
Below are swatches of how it would look smudged.

they are sold at www.Eyeko.com for $6
they used to offer free world wide shipping, but they changed it for international.
I think they still offer it if your in the UK
you can also get a discount if you sign up as an ambassador but there's a minimum to how much you purchase.
If you do decide to purchase there you can use the code E286, i think you get a free gift or something to that effect :)

Etude House BB Magic Balm Review

This BB Cream comes in a jar instead of a pump or tube like they usually do.
It also comes with a mini foundation brush (^_^) its really soft, you should use a bigger brush for faster application.

It is packaged in a shiny iridescent box.
Writing on the box:
"Skin protection from environmental and UV damage, BB Magic Balm promotes natural looking coverage that nourishes, soothes and corrects skin tone. Includes brush for clean and convenient application that delivers pore safe oil control and porcelain smooth complexion."

description from Etude House Global site:
Formulated for Sensitive Skin
Sparkling Clear Complexion
Skin Clarifying Formula

Active Ingredients:
Chamomile Extract, Aloe Vera Gel, Centella Asiatica, Grape seed oil.

SPF 30/PA+++ ( very important to me since I live in a sunny location)

Here are the swatches on the back of my hand: Before, Application, and After I spread it out
Smiley face and Heart are for reference

Coverage is sheer - medium, good for layering it doesn't feel cakey.
I assumed it would be waxy, but it is nice and creamy.
It only comes in one shade which is pretty light, but you can always layer powder on top for more
coverage or to darken it a bit.
I do recommend layering it to make it last longer.
There is a compact from the same line ( BB Magic Pact ) and that comes in 2 shades

As for the Skin clarifying formula I will have to continue using it to reap those benefits.
So hopefully it delivers.
